Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an Identity and Access Management Engineer to design, implement, and support IAM solutions such as SailPoint and Azure AD. You will collaborate with application owners, IAM architects, and IT partners to onboard applications, develop access workflows, and automate main access processes while ensuring secure, auditable governance.

The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IAM experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Cyber Security or similar technical field.
• Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
• SailPoint Certified Identity Security Engineer certification is preferred.
• Expertise in relational databases and SQL.
• Experience implementing and administering SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and related IAM platforms.
• Hands-on experience configuring SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID including configuring SSO and SCIM provisioning.
• Strong troubleshooting processes and security controls knowledge.
• Experience with information security in IAM domain.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IAM/IAG operations including automation and config-as-code.
• Onboard applications with RBAC/ABAC and entitlement workflows.
• Install new IAM functionality per roadmap.
• Provide SME guidance on IAM technologies to IT partners.
• Collaborate with DBAs, admins, and developers to troubleshoot and improve IAM performance.
• Produce documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide escalation support for IAM incidents.
• Participate in cross-training and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to reporting and metrics.
