Job summary

Collabera LLC is seeking an experienced SSO (IAM) Engineer to design and implement enterprise-grade single sign-on solutions onsite in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on Ping Identity suites, including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingID, with strong emphasis on SSO protocol expertise and cloud IAM concepts.

You will work with application and security teams to onboard new apps, ensure secure authentication via SAML/OAuth/OIDC, and support MFA deployments to uplift identity

Qualifications

• Expertise with Ping Identity suite
• Knowledge of PingFederate, PingAccess, policy design and integrations
• Strong SSO protocol knowledge
• Experience with AML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
• Cloud IAM experience (app federation, roles, policies)
• Proficiency in Java and Python or C# for IAM customization
• Directory and authentication: LDAP, Active Directory, MFA
• Enterprise identity and access management experience

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise SSO solutions utilizing the Ping Identity suite.
• Configure and maintain PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingID environments.
• Build and support secure authentication and federation solutions using SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
• Partner with application teams to onboard new applications into enterprise SSO platforms.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and federation-related production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Support MFA deployments and identity security initiatives.
• Maintain high availability, performance, and stability of Ping infrastructure.
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide IAM engineering recommendations.
• Automate operational processes and platform deployments where possible.
• Collaborate with security, networking, cloud, and application engineering teams.

Day to Day:

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $70 $73 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
