Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Director to lead a team of IAM engineers and analysts on-site at our El Segundo, CA facility or Chantilly, VA. This leadership role drives enterprise IAM programs, modernization, and cross-functional collaboration to secure and streamline access across all networks.

You will manage secure authentication, provisioning, PKI, and identity services, while coordinating with IT and Cybersecurity. A U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, or equivalent field.
10+ years of IT/security experience with at least 6+ years in IAM technologies.
Hands-on experience with identity provisioning, PKI, MFA, federated identity services, and directory services.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute an enterprise IAM roadmap aligned with strategic initiatives and business requirements.
Oversee delivery of IAM projects, services, and infrastructure enterprise-wide.
Modernize and consolidate IAM capabilities, migrating from legacy tools to strategic platforms.
Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, and Device Management teams to clarify ownership and automate tasks.
Drive standardization of IAM services across networks and support external collaboration (B2B).
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IAM engineers and analysts.
