Job summary

The IAM Automation Engineer will design, develop, and optimize Azure-based Identity & Access Management (IAM) automation solutions. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable identity lifecycle and governance automation using PowerShell, .NET, and Azure-native services within a DevOps-driven environment.

Responsibilities include building automation for IAM services, including certificate lifecycle management, user provisioning, B2B access policies, and Entra ID/Active Directory management,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in IAM automation and enterprise-scale solution design.
• PowerShell expertise.
• .NET proficiency.
• Bicep proficiency.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• Experience managing end-to-end automation lifecycles.
• Strong collaboration with product, project teams, QA, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement IAM automation solutions using PowerShell, .NET, and Bicep.
• Build and maintain automation for IAM services including provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security to support DevOps delivery.
• Design event-driven, Azure-based automation using Azure API Management, Service Bus, and Functions.
• Monitor, log, and alert for IAM automation operations.

The IAM Automation Engineer will design, develop, and optimize Azure-based Identity & Access Management ( IAM ) automation solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade IAM automation solutions usingPowerShell, .NET, and Bicep.
• Build and maintain automation for IAM services, including:
  • Certificate lifecycle management
  • User and object provisioning and deprovisioning
  • B2B access policies
  • Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and native group management
• Ensure automation solutions aresecure, reusable, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards.

Azure-Based Automation Solutions

• Leverage Azure-native services to buildevent-driven and scalable automation, including:
  • Azure API Management
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Container Apps
  • Azure Function Apps
• Design resilient integrations capable of supportinghigh-volume IAM transactionswith reliability and fault tolerance.

Quality, Performance & Security

• Deliver high-quality, performance-optimized automation capable of handlingbulk IAM operations.
• Error handling and exception management
• Logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Security controls and access governance
• Ensure solutions align withidentity governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Work within aDevOps-driven delivery modelusing:
  • Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control
  • CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to supportcontinuous delivery and operational excellence.

Strategic & Innovation Contributions

• Align automation initiatives with IAM strategic roadmaps and service objectives.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such asGitHub Copilot and Claude Sonnetto:
  • Improve development efficiency
  • Enhance code quality
  • Drive innovation across IAM automation services

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in IAM automationand enterprise-scale solution design.

• Experience managingend-to-end automation lifecycles, including scheduling, orchestration, deployment, and maintenance across multiple environments.
