Luna Data Solutions has an immediate long-term contract position opening for an IAM Analyst/Administrator - SailPoint/Ping resource with our public sector industry client located in Austin, TX. This resource must work onsite 5 days/week. All candidates must be currently local/close to the Austin, TX area.

Role: IAM Analyst/Administrator - SailPoint/Ping

Role Description

The client is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Security Analyst to join their Identity and Access Management (IAM) team.

This role is responsible for administering and supporting the SailPoint IdentityIQ and Ping Identity platforms to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant access to Tsystems and resources.

Key Activities/Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ and Ping Identity platforms, including configuration, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Implement and manage identity governance policies, access certifications, and role-based access controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard applications and services into the IAM ecosystem.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IAM-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives by providing access reports and documentation.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of IAM standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in incident response and remediation efforts related to identity and access.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a creative thinker to solve issues.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in identity and access management.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience administering SailPoint and/or Ping Identity solutions.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), SSO, MFA, and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Minimum of 7 years of familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and customization.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working in enterprise environments with complex IAM requirements.
• Minimum of 7 years of strong understanding of IAM concepts, including provisioning, de‑provisioning, access reviews, and entitlement management.
• Minimum of 7 years of proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving IAM platform issues.
• Minimum of 7 years of ability to interpret and apply security policies and standards.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop documents needed in support of the solution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with one or more of the state of Texas government agencies
• Certifications such as SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer and/or Ping Identity Certified Professional.
• Familiarity with ITIL, NIST, or other security frameworks.
