Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer (IaC) to design and automate cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments in the Raleigh-Durham area. The role requires expertise in Python, Node.js, Terraform, Terragrunt, and CI/CD automation for Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities include building IaC, developing deployment tooling, and creating robust CI/CD pipelines with security and testing integrated. Remote work flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Proficient in Python and Node.js for scripting.
• Hands-on Terraform and Terragrunt in production environments.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain IaC using Terraform/Terragrunt for Azure and AWS.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python and Node.js to support deployment workflows.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable application delivery.
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and quality controls into CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with development and cloud teams for scalable, secure infra designs.
• Troubleshoot and improve build, deployment, and cloud provisioning performance.
