The role emphasizes steering complex projects, balancing scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborating with senior leadership. This onsite position spans McKinney, TX, Forest, MS, Andover, MA and Tucson, AZ with up to ~10% travel.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• PMI PMP Certification and/or Agile Scrum Certifications.
• Minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience including scheduling, earned-value management, risk/opportunity management, and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience communicating with Senior Leadership and stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Lead Industry 4.0 projects that directly impact how Raytheon designs, builds, and delivers world‑class factory automation solutions.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to define scope, schedule, vision, and features for automation initiatives.
• Build and manage project plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets to deliver smart solutions to the factories.
• Identify risks & opportunities, resolve issues, and with proactive measures to keep projects on track.
• Share project insights, wins, and key milestones with senior leaders.
• Guide teams through shifting priorities and ambiguous challenges with confidence.
• Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, elevate processes, and unlock new automation opportunities.
• Domestic Travel Requirements: Up to ~10%

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. or Applicable MS Degree and minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
• PMI PMP Certification and/or Agile Scrum Certifications.
• Minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience including scheduling, earned‑value management, risk/opportunity management, and cross‑functional leadership.
• Experience demonstrated in communication and stakeholder engagement with Senior Leadership.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Raytheon Project Management Level 6 certification.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving, and team leadership skills.
• Strong experience with both Agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Background in Industry 4.0, digital transformation, or large‑scale automation projects.
• Knowledge of IoT, AI, robotics, machine learning, and smart factory technologies.
• Experience with earned value management, capital investment planning, and appropriations requests.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
