Job summary

Midwest Compressor Systems LLC dba LRS is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair critical equipment in field and shop environments.

You’ll handle control panels, VFDs, SCADA, automation, and instrumentation challenges, often across multiple sites. Travel to customer locations will be required, and prior oil & gas or industrial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous electrical/instrumentation/controls experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations; able to meet vehicle/insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot control panels and instrumentation issues.
• Diagnose VFD problems on compressor packages and related systems.
• Assist commissioning of new compressor packages.
• Perform electrical/instrumentation repairs and routine maintenance.
