Job summary

Evonik group is looking for an I&E Technician in Etowah, TN, to perform various maintenance tasks on instrument and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in chemical processing, and an Associate degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a chemical processing facility.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and wiring for PLC/DCS systems.
• Dependable and strong work ethic required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of maintenance work on instrument and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and solve instrument and electrical problems.
• Assist in training employees and plan repair work safely.

Skills

PLC/DCS programming

Read and update electrical prints

Excellent verbal and written communication

Microsoft Office knowledge

SAP experience

Education
