Job summary

Aurorium in Denham Springs, LA is seeking an I&E Technician to join the Maintenance Team. This hourly position supports reliability centered maintenance and works a day shift on a 40-hour week, with on-call responsibilities during outages and weekends.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electro-mechanical instruments for flow, pressure, temperature, and levels, and provide preventive and emergency maintenance across the facility, collaborating with operations.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair electro-mechanical devices that measure flow, pressure, temperature, and levels
• Provide preventive, scheduled, and emergency I&E maintenance support to the facility
• Conduct instrumentation evaluations and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and PLC systems
• Ensure instrumentation is commissioned correctly after repair or replacement
• Perform tests related to functional performance on instrumentation as needed
• Evaluate instrument performance to identify optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with plant operations on routine and emergency instrument work
• Navigate PLC and DCS logic to support troubleshooting
