Job summary

Clean Harbors Deer Park is seeking a licensed I&E Technician to perform instrument checks, calibrations, and troubleshoot control systems in a 24/7 Deer Park, TX incineration environment. The role requires a Texas Journeyman Electrician's License or NCCER Industrial Electrician certification or military equivalent, with 3–5 years of industrial experience.

The incumbent will diagnose control circuit issues, calibrate instruments, and support electrical maintenance with PLC systems, while

Qualifications

Minimum state license and/or NCCER certification per CBA.
Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and instrument calibration.
Ability to read schematics and ladder logic.
Willingness to work rotating shifts and 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

Ensures Health & Safety is the top priority while following safe work practices.
Troubleshoots instrumentation and control circuit malfunctions.
Troubleshoots motors, MCC buckets, and associated control circuits.
Performs preventative maintenance on electrical systems as assigned.
Performs instrument bench calibrations on new and existing instruments.
Maintains records and logs as required.
Installs new system control and power wiring.
Installs cabling and motor control centers.
Performs electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Other duties as assigned.
