Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our Utah team. Based in Grantsville and surrounding areas, you will perform instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC logic tasks, diagnosing control circuitry issues and supporting electrical and maintenance teams.

The role offers a 4-day workweek, day shift, and growth opportunities in an essential industry. Expect on-site work with potential overtime and wages aligned with industry standards in Utah.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3-5+ years of oil, refinery, chemical, or steel mill experience preferred.
• Instrument and/or electrical training or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions.
• Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations.
• Maintains accurate records and logs as required.
• Installs new system controls (including power wiring).
• Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers.
• Services and replaces motors and lighting.
• Performs general electrical maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
