Job summary

Crimson Group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician for the Longmont, CO team. You will handle maintenance, calibration, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring safety and reliability across production facilities.

You will collaborate with the I&E Supervisor, perform scheduled inspections, troubleshoot PLCs and process control equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Instrument Technician with strong electrical knowledge.
• Preference for dual Journeyman Instrumentation and Electrician tickets.
• Proficient in reading wire diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Maintain equipment to required standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with I&E Supervisor on safety and environmental compliance.
• Provide feedback on issues to I&E Supervisor.
• Calibrate instruments and troubleshoot analyzers, PLCs, networks, and data-logging equipment.
• Install, program, and calibrate new equipment; document maintenance records.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement in the work culture.
