Job summary

ExxonMobil in Midland, TX seeks a skilled I&E Technician to perform daily electrical and instrumentation duties on production facilities. You will diagnose, repair, calibrate instruments, sensors, PLCs, VFDs and MCCs while maintaining safety and reliability in demanding environments.

You will read schematics and P&IDs, work overtime/on-call as needed, and collaborate with Facilities Mechanics to ensure continuous operations. A 5-year background or equivalent degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of on the job experience or equivalent degree.
• Read electrical schematics, one-lines and P&ID’s.
• Will work overtime and be on an On-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and install I&E equipment such as PLC components and transmitters.
• Repair electrical components like MCCs, VFDs, and transformers.
• Calibrate instrumentation including pressure, flow, temp, level transmitters.
