Job summary

Air Liquide Large Industries is hiring an I&E Technician in Bayport, TX. This role focuses on day-to-day maintenance and reliable operation of equipment, instrumentation, analyzers, and electrical systems within a heavy industrial environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, CMMS knowledge, and be comfortable with DCS/SCADA systems, control valves, and safety protocols. A 2-year technical degree is preferred and forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to maintain, repair, and calibrate analyzers, transmitters, and control valves.
• Basic understanding of the facility’s control system and MCC/switchgear.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to operate forklift and other machinery.

Responsibilities

• I&E Technician is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and reliable operation of equipment, instrumentation, analyzers, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair instrumentation and control systems.
• Work with plant-wide automation networks including DCS and SCADA.
• Interpret and follow P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and industry standards for safety.
