Job summary

Linde Inc. is seeking an I&E Technician in Phoenix, AZ to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems.

You will work with low-voltage electrical systems, plant automation equipment, and valves while using drawings, schematics, and P&IDs to diagnose issues and perform calibration, maintenance, and repairs. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; AS degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of related experience in process control instrumentation.
• Proficient with instrumentation and electrical hand tools, meters, and calibration equipment.
• Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate instrumentation, control systems, low-voltage electrical systems, plant automation equipment, and valves.
• Diagnose equipment issues using control diagrams, loop drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Assist with startup/shutdown activities and process equipment operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot process analytical equipment and related analyzers; experience with Servomex, Tiger Optics, Orthodyne, Siemens, Teledyne preferred.
• Maintain P&ID drawings and review calibration practices; analyze data to identify abnormal conditions and validate analyzer performance.
