Job summary

Linde plc seeks a Field Instrumentation Technician to perform installation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems at our Phoenix, AZ sites. You will support critical safety systems, ensure reliability, and document work orders, calibration records and service reports.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 5+ years of process control instrumentation experience, strong electrical tool skills, ability to read P&ID diagrams, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least five years of experience in process control instrumentation.
• Proficient with electrical and instrumentation hand tools, meters, calibration equipment.
• Ability to read P&ID diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; clear written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and call-in coverage.
• Able to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and onsite support with a strong focus on critical safety systems and system reliability.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and install instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable performance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as work orders, service reports, and calibration records.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain pneumatic and electronic process control instrumentation, including predictive program instrumentation with full repair history documentation.
• Use control logic drawings to troubleshoot complex process control systems and support continuous improvement of reliability.
