Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company in Rock Hill, SC, for an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician. This opportunity allows you to leverage your instrumentation expertise while working with cutting-edge control systems in a stable manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrument & electrical systems throughout the plant
• Perform loop checks and provide support for capital projects when needed
• Execute preventative maintenance according to plant procedures
• Fabricate, assemble, and install new or used process equipment as needed
• Maintain inventory of parts and equipment
• Configure various instruments utilizing Hart protocol
• Identify instrumentation and electrical needs including design and installation
• Support other maintenance activities and additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Technical or vocational education in Instrumentation or related field
• 7+ years of experience in instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting
• Direct experience in a chemical plant or similar manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Delta-V distributed control systems
• Knowledge of Rosemount instrumentation
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC 5 systems (preferred)
• Knowledge of working with corrosive materials such as sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid
• Ability to size and install rigid conduit
• Experience with Hart protocol instrument configuration
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for equipment failures
