Williams in Colorado is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Operations Technician to maximize equipment reliability and availability. You will mentor teammates, troubleshoot complex problems, and maintain detailed records with a safety-first mindset.
Responsibilities include maintaining gas process equipment, optimizing control systems, and supporting projects with instrumentation specifications.

The ability to:
, I&E Technicians works with electrical and instrumentation equipment. Perform maintenance and operational tasks with all natural gas process related equipment, instrumentation, and control systems. Properly maintain and complete maintenance records, service reports, and other required documents as required. Maintain and operate glycol dehydration, cryogenic processing, fractionation plant, reciprocating and turbine compressors. Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment, vehicles, tools, and equipment. Attend safety and technical training while progressing in the I&E Operations Technician development process. Maintain and operate Allen Bradley PLC systems. Follow and adhere to Williams’ System Integrity Plan for all regulatory requirements and company core values and beliefs. Supports teams by providing quality maintenance duties to maximize equipment reliability and availability. These duties include but are not limited to electrical troubleshooting of low to high voltage equipment and repair and instrumentation and control valve calibration. Has electrical / electronic skills and knowledge. Participate in root cause analysis and execution of corrective actions to minimize recurrence of unplanned shutdowns. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems. Initiates and completes work orders and requisitions, and documents all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis. Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, instrumentation and analytical equipment, following electrical code, manuals, procedures, schematic diagrams, P&IDs, blue prints and other specifications. Inspect instrumentation periodically and perform calibrations to ensure accuracy. Perform some programming and controls work.
