Job summary

Nouryon is seeking an I&E Lead Tech for our Salisbury, NC facility to maintain electrical and instrumentation systems safely and reliably. This hands‑on role includes preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and installation across process equipment.

You will support the maintenance team, manage calibration records, and help ensure GMP compliance. A 2‑year technical degree and SAP PM experience are preferred for this permanent, full‑time position.

Qualifications

2-year degree in industrial electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or related field is preferred.
Electrical License preferred.
Experience working in a chemical plant or other industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.
Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on electrical and instrumentation equipment, including flow, pressure, temperature, level, weight, and other control instruments.
Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation equipment, control loops, PLCs, AC drives, and digital control systems.
Install, configure, and set up electrical and instrumentation equipment for replacements, upgrades, and new projects.
Maintain accurate equipment history and maintenance records.
Maintain the computerized database used for instrument calibrations.
Identify and communicate recurring electrical and instrumentation issues so they can be addressed and eliminated.
Assist mechanics with basic electrical and instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
Follow all applicable GMPs when performing work within the role.
