Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking an I&E Technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems, including control elements and telemetry hardware. The role involves calibrations, troubleshooting, and safe operation within plant or field environments.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, solid computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with teams, personnel, and vendors.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays; respond to call outs as needed.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in changing climate conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective & preventative maintenance on I&E systems and related equipment.
• Assists with calibration, troubleshooting, repair and installation of electronic, electrical and pneumatic equipment.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance and calibration activities.
• Ensures calibration of instruments is maintained.
• Adheres to PPE guidelines and safety procedures.
