Job summary

Audubon is seeking an Instrument Engineering Associate for our Tulsa, OK office. You will perform entry level instrument engineering assignments related to designing equipment, components, structures or systems.

Responsibilities include gathering vendor data, preparing basic specifications under supervision, sketches, and basic calculations. You will review drawings, communicate with stakeholders, and track project scope, schedule, and HSSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• ABET-accredited degree preferred.
• Electrical engineering degree preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Ability to find solutions and work proactively on problems.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and record information from vendor drawings, catalogs, and manuals for engineering specs.
• Under supervision, prepare basic specifications detailing client requirements, design codes, and vendor drawing needs.
• Prepare basic sketches and perform basic engineering calculations for project assignments.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact and communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Track and maintain awareness of schedule and budget for assigned projects.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and approval procedures.
• Report unsafe acts or incidents to a supervisor promptly.
