Job summary

Advantage Technical in Elwood, IL is seeking an experienced I&E Engineer to support critical electrical and instrumentation assets within a manufacturing setting. You will improve reliability, support power systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role involves developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, troubleshooting issues, reviewing contractor deliverables, and leading FMEA/RCFA activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or Associate/Technical Degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability programs.
• Familiarity with NFPA, NETA, NEMA, ANSI, IEEE and related electrical standards.
• Experience with Arc Flash and Coordination Studies using SKM, ETAP, or similar software.
• Ability to read and create electrical one-lines, schematics, and loop drawings.
• Chemical processing, manufacturing, or industrial plant experience preferred.
• ISA Instrumentation Certification and NFPA 70E Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

Pay: $80.00 - $88.65 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM | Hybrid (Onsite/Offsite)
