Job summary

We’re seeking an experienced I&E Designer III to lead complex projects, streamline design processes, and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions. What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Extensive experience in design and drafting management for electrical and instrumentation projects
• Proven ability to develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping & instrument diagrams (P&IDs), equipment layouts, and facility plot plans
• Expertise in assigning electrical equipment, instrument tagging, conduit, and cable numbering
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve drawing development issues and implement changes to record drawings
• Experience in preparing material lists, data sheets, and coordinating material take-offs and requisitions
• Skilled in developing and maintaining project scopes, work estimates, and schedules
• Effective communication skills for attending project meetings, coordinating with vendors, and liaising with project teams and contractors
• Willingness to travel to project sites by air or automobile as required

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with industry standards and company STDs
• Experience with standard drawing development and project documentation procedures
• Knowledge of specifications, procedures, and tools that reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Ability to guide and mentor junior team members and enhance departmental tools and methods

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Senior-level experience in instrumentation & electrical design within industrial, plant, or pipeline facilities
• Relevant engineering or technical degree preferred; equivalent professional experience also highly valued

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing and able to travel for project site visits
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors
