Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking an experienced CAD designer to perform complete electrical/instrumentation design work under supervision. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of AutoCAD experience, proficiency with CADWorx, and strong skills in P&IDs, instrument loops, and schematics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AutoCAD experience in petrochemical or refining environments
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID maps, instrument loops and schematics
• Proficient in CAD software and drafting practices
• Experience using electronic document management systems
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative work style

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D/3D drawings and assemblies from sketches and instructions
• Adjust drawings based on engineer/architect feedback
• Direct CAD work to meet design standards and regulations
• Produce drafts of engineer or architect designs using CAD software
• Ensure drawings meet material specifications and building techniques
