Qualifications

  • 5+ years of AutoCAD experience developing P&IDs and design drawings in petrochemical/refining industries.
  • Proficient in reading design documents such as P&IDs, instrument loop drawings and schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of drafting practices and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, modifies and controls detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings from sketches and written instructions.
  • Makes adjustments to drawings based on feedback from engineers or architects.
  • Directs the application of CAD software to deliver designs with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Contributes to drafting of designs using CAD software to create accurate drawings.
  • Ensures drafts comply with company regulations and quality standards.
  • Delivers drafts of engineer/architect designs via CAD software.
  • Ensures material and equipment specifications are accurate and drafts meet building standards.
  • Designs diagrams and layouts to illustrate workflow of designs.

What You'll Be DoingJob Scope: Generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete design of electrical/instrumentation assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This level is expected to assist in the design of larger and more complex electrical/instrumentation assignments.
