Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. seeks an I/E Designer in Borger, TX to perform complete electrical/instrumentation design tasks under supervision.

You will assist in designing larger, complex projects, drafting detailed two- and three-dimensional drawings, and ensuring compliance with standards. Requires a high school diploma, 5+ years AutoCAD experience with P&ID maps in petrochemical or refining settings, and proficiency in CADWorx and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and understanding design documents such as P&IDs, instrument loop drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of design and drafting practices.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining all drawings to support projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/CADWorx.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
• Experience utilizing electronic document management systems.
• Collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Creates modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional drawings from sketches and instructions.
• Adjusts drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects.
• Directs CAD software application to conceptualize designs with attention to detail.
• Drafts designs using CAD software to produce drawings.
• Ensures compliance with company regulations and standards.
• Delivers CAD drafts for engineers or architects.
• Verifies material and equipment specifications and the accuracy of drafts.
• Designs diagrams and layouts illustrating workflow.
