Job summary

KenCrest is seeking a Supported I/DD Employment Specialist to support our Employment Program and its Leadership Team. This role involves mobile/remote work with individuals with disabilities, providing on-the-job training and building relationships with community employers.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, able to work one-on-one, and committed to professional growth within a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Experience with the I/DD population preferred.
• ACRE Certification preferred or must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job training to consumers in the Employment Program.
• Develop relationships with community employers to identify opportunities.
• Support individuals served to identify strengths for employment success.
• Encourage personal choice and decision making.
