Job summary

CARSTAR is seeking a metal technician to repair vehicles and restore them to pre-accident condition following industry standards and factory specs. Responsibilities include structural repairs, airbag replacement, welding, and surface finishing.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of collision repair experience, I-CAR or ASE training, and valid driver’s license. Must provide own tools and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; collision tech graduate preferred.
• I-CAR certification or ASE training required; welding/structural certs preferred.
• Experience with frame and measuring equipment; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged vehicles following repair orders and information sheets.
• Make repair or replace decisions considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove interiors and components to access areas; perform structural, airbag, and some mechanical work.
