The I&C Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Garner, NC, responsible for engineering and implementing instrumentation and control solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects. This role includes designing control systems, specifying instrumentation and electrical components, preparing engineering documentation, and supporting project planning and execution. The I&C Project Engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure systems are correctly installed, tested, and commissioned in alignment with project requirements and industry standards. Day-to-day activities involve developing control strategies, reviewing P&IDs and wiring diagrams, participating in design reviews, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting start-up and optimization of facilities. The role also requires adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines while maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.
