Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is seeking an I&C Engineer, Design to support the Nuclear Power Group in Spring City, TN. You will plan and coordinate instrumentation and controls engineering on substantial projects, addressing complex design requirements and coordinating with multiple teams.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, with strong I&C knowledge, and are willing to relocate and travel. On-call and rotating shifts are possible as per TVA procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer desirable; able to obtain nuclear plant access.
• Willing to relocate and travel to plant locations as required.
• On-call rotational assignments may be required, including 24/7 availability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of I&C engineering work.
• Provide procurement, field engineering, walk-downs, modifications, maintenance, and testing support.
• Supervise or coordinate multidiscipline engineers and technicians on assignments.
