Westinghouse Electric Company in Pennsylvania is seeking an I&C Product Engineer to support the OEM Parts department in New Stanton. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site presence 2–3 days per week and collaboration with Sales, customers and vendors.

The successful candidate will have a B.S. in ABET-accredited EE or EE Technology, hands-on experience with analog circuits and lab equipment, SAP knowledge, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 0–4 years related engineering experience.
• Knowledge of analog circuit design and electronic components.
• Familiar with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• SAP experience in production, requisitioning and material master data is desired.
• Proficient with MS Office and ability to write procurement input/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage I&C parts quotes and orders.
• Collaborate with Sales, customers and vendors on procurement.
• Define I&C part needs with customers.
• Create documentation for procurement/manufacturing.
• Develop CDI documents for Commercial Dedication Instructions.
• Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence.
• Assist in test procedure development and execution.
• Set up equipment and monitor seismic, environmental and EMC tests.

As a I&C Product Engineer, you will help support our OEM Parts department in New Stanton, PA. You will report to the Manager of Procurement Engineering. This role is eligible for a mobile working arrangement, with the expectation that you will be on site in New Stanton 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage I&C parts quotes and orders.
• Work with internal Sales team, customers and vendors to support I&C parts procurement.
• Work with customers to define I&C part needs.
• Support creation of documentation for procurement/manufacturing
• Develop Commercial Dedication Instruction (CDI) documents
• Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence
• Support development of test procedures and execution of functional tests
• Establish equipment setups/monitoring for seismic, environmental, and EMC tests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in ABET-Accredited Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 0-4 Years relevant engineering related experience
• Analog circuit design knowledge
• Knowledge of electronic/electrical components including, but not limited to circuit boards, power supplies, relays, etc.
• Knowledge of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, frequency generators, DVMs, etc.
• SAP knowledge, especially production, requisitioning, and material master data management is desired
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Experience with writing technical requirements for the procurement of equipment and developing the input for these specifications is a plus

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400.00 to $73,000.00 per year.
