Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer I in New Stanton, PA. You will support development of system and hardware design specifications for I&C systems for new plants and upgrades, and help create hardware design documentation such as cabinet layouts and wiring schematics.

You will report to the Mgr, Instrumentation & Monitoring Systems Safety & Reactor Systems Engineering, work in a hybrid model, and participate in testing,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills.

About The Role

As a I&C Engineer I you will support development of system and hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control systems for new plant and upgrade projects. Support creation of hardware design documentation such as cabinet layout drawings, cable/wiring schematics, and PCB layout/schematics.

You will report to the Mgr, Instrumentation & Monitoring Systems Safety & Reactor Systems Engineering and will be hybrid in New Stanton, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support creation of documentation for procurement/manufacturing.
• Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence.
• Support development of test procedures and execution of functional tests.
• Provide support to customers for installation and emergent technical issues.
• Opportunities to travel to customer and supplier sites (domestic and international)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 0+ years of experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Strong communication skills

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
