Job summary

Westinghouse Nuclear is seeking an I&C technician to perform installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation, sensors, PLCs, and automated process control systems across nuclear sites following training at Madison, PA. You will program and operate ZAP EDM sinker machinery for high-precision manufacturing and collaborate with engineering/production teams to stay on plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years in electronics/I&C role.
• Experience with ZAP EDM or other sinker/wire EDM platforms.
• Fluent in electrical schematic interpretation and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instrumentation, sensors, PLCs, and process control systems.
• Program, set up, and operate ZAP EDM sinker machinery for high-precision manufacturing.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and procedures; run test protocols.
• Conduct instrumentation testing with DMMs, oscilloscopes, and simulators; document findings.
• Perform field cable installation and support safety and quality practices.
