Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a field instrumentation technician to install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, PLCs, sensors, and automated processes at nuclear facilities. The role includes configuring ZAP EDM sinker equipment, validating sensor calibrations, and documenting steps taken on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with precision equipment.
• Familiarity with ZAP EDM or similar sinker EDM systems is a plus.
• Experience reading schematics and following test procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, control circuits, PLCs, sensors, and automated processes.
• Program, set up, and operate ZAP EDM sinker equipment to support precision manufacturing.
• Coordinate with engineering and production to meet quality and safety standards.
• Record maintenance actions and keep complete equipment documentation.
• Perform instrumentation testing with DMMs and oscilloscopes; interpret drawings and instructions.
