Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. is seeking a driven engineer/draftsman to support design of I&C plans using AutoCAD and Revit. You will assist in research, planning, and design of projects under an engineer, applying building codes and procedures to production work.

Required 2+ years in related field, familiarity with electrical designs and networks, and ability to travel domestically and internationally for field support. Proficiency in MS Office and Autodesk suite is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of related experience required.
Experience with electrical conceptual designs, methods and materials specifications.
Experience in communication networks design, implementation, troubleshooting and optimization.
Proficiency with MS Office and 3D modeling software such as Inventor, Plant 3D and/or Revit.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally to project sites and M3 offices; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of I&C plans and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Assist in research, planning and design of projects under supervision of an engineer.
Apply knowledge of design, construction procedures, and building codes to design and production work.
Prepare or assist in preparing material quantity estimates.
Coordinate with other departments as needed.
