Job summary

eTeam is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL for a full-time role focused on concept through IFC design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for complex facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a BSEE or equivalent; NQA-1 QA experience is a plus. The role involves design, calculations, and coordination with multiple engineering disciplines, with PLC programming experience considered beneficial.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSEE or equivalent; Licensed Professional Engineer a strong plus.
• Experience in design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for complex facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical, instrumentation and control systems from concept through IFC.
• Prepare and review design calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, design basis documents that support safety analyses.
• Provide engineering support during construction, FAT, startup, and commissioning; ensure QA programs are followed.
