Job summary

MSTI is seeking an I&C Engineer to support instrumentation and controls through detailed design, build, and testing in accordance with design requirements. The role collaborates with system and mechanical engineers and architects to develop P&IDs, DCS/PLC specs, and detailed I&C architecture.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering (ABET-accredited), 5+ years in I&C, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain security clearance. MSTI offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited program; MSc preferred.
• 5+ years of expertise in instrumentation and control system development.
• Experience with nuclear instrumentation and control systems preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design I&C for process systems (controls, instrumentation, data collection, electromechanical, automation & robotics).
• Collaborate with system engineers, designers, and analysts on detailed design development.
• Support mechanical engineers in developing P&IDs and isom diagrams.
• Interface with architectural/engineering firms to support I&C system development/implementation.
• Prepare functional requirements and procurement specifications for instrumentation and control systems.
