Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company seeks a part-time JIB accounting assistant in Downtown Houston to support the JIB Accounting team. You will help prepare journal entries for recurring expenses, calculate well payouts, and analyze non-operated JIBs.

You will work with JIB accountants on special projects and handle overflow tasks. Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and MS Office skills are required; high school diploma or GED is necessary.

• Helps to prepare manual journal entries for recurring expenses incurred by team
• Helps to calculate payouts for wells
• Helps to analyze and process non-operated JIBs
• Works with JIB accountants on special projects
• Handle special projects, as assigned
• Proficient in anticipating matters at hand and initiating action without requiring direction or supervision
