Job summary

Jeff Wyler Hyundai of Springfield is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with a focus on quality workmanship and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dealership environment. Hyundai experience is a plus, but not required; ASE certifications are beneficial. Tools and hands-on training are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Automotive training or technical school completion preferred.
• Previous automotive repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and recommended services.
• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, and other repair work.
• Diagnose drivability and performance issues.
• Use diagnostic equipment and repair information to troubleshoot problems.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate vehicle concerns and repair needs with service advisors.
• Document work performed accurately.
• Work as part of a team to keep the shop moving.
• Stay current with automotive technology, tools, and repair procedures.
