Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group, located in Aurora, CO, is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to lead the new-vehicle sales team. This full-time role offers a draw plus commission structure and a monthly pay range, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned group now operating in multiple states.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership in automotive sales, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage budgets and staff effectively.

Qualifications

• Must have Automotive Sales Manager experience.
• Consistently top performer in sales metrics.
• F&I experience in sales and/or management is preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
• Heart for customer care and ability to deliver excellent service.
• Availability to work retail hours including Saturdays and holidays.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the new vehicle sales department with assistance from the Dealer and General Sales Manager.
• Attend manager meetings.
• Assist the General Sales Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for the new-vehicle department.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all new-vehicle sales employees.
• Oversee the efforts of new-vehicle salespeople to enhance the dealership's image and customer satisfaction ratings.
• Communicate with new-vehicle salespeople to ensure dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
• Guide all salespeople in setting objectives on short and long-range basis and review team performance.

What we are looking for:

• Automotive Sales Managerexperience required
• Consistently performing in the top of sales metrics
• F&I experience in sales and/or management
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• A heart for customer care and demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
• Availability to work retail hours including Saturdays and holidays
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean driving record with minimal accidents, points or moving violations
• Able to use/learn to use: CRM database, Google Suite and other automotive software products as required
