Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group is seeking a skilled service technician for Schomp Hyundai in Aurora, CO. The role covers timely maintenance, diagnostic work, and repairs to meet dealership standards and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a mainline technician in a dealership or automotive service center, and specific Hyundai/Kia/Genesis experience. Must have own tools and a valid driver's license, with a focus on quality, safety, and continual learning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center.
• 2+ years of Hyundai, Kia or Genesis brand experience required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and continually improve knowledge and skills.
• Own complete and up-to-date tools; must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance.
• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues and recommend replacement/repair as needed.
• Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay Type: Flat Rate Pay Range: $31 - $42 per flat rate hour

What You'll Do:

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance
• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed
• Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks
• Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals

What You Need:

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center required
• 2+ years of Hyundai, Kia or Genesis brand experience required
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills
• Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools You must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
