Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group's Schomp Hyundai in Aurora, CO is seeking a skilled mainline automotive technician to join our service team. The role focuses on timely maintenance, accurate inspections, and quality repairs, working with colleagues to hit dealer and manufacturer goals.

You will diagnose issues, recommend replacements, and strive to maintain productivity while delivering excellent customer service. This on-site role offers a robust benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a dealership or automotive service center.
• 2+ years of Hyundai, Kia or Genesis brand experience.
• Own a complete and up-to-date set of tools and valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine maintenance.
• Inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues and recommend repairs.
• Work with team toward dealership, group and manufacturer goals.
• Repair or replace parts while maintaining productivity goals.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay Type: Flat Rate

Pay Range: $31 - $42 per flat rate hour

What You'll Do:

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance
• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed
• Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks
• Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals

What You Need:

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center required
• 2+ years of Hyundai, Kia or Genesis brand experience required
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills
• Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools
• You must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
