Job summary

Shelter House is seeking a Hypothermia Coordinator (Mon-Fri, 12am-8am) to support the temporary Hypothermia program. You will set up spaces, transport participants with Shelter House vehicles, conduct orientations, distribute meals, and coordinate with case management to meet participants' needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participant safety and maintain accurate counts.
• Enforce shelter guidelines and de-escalate conflicts.
• Report incidents and maintain participant confidentiality.
• Complete intakes, orientations, and required paperwork.
• Explain shelter guidelines, schedules, and available services.
• Distribute supplies and assist with case management services.
• Set up sleeping areas and manage bedding and supplies.
• Safely transport participants and maintain vehicle logs.
• Maintain shelter logs and incident reports.
