The role focuses on designing, building, and testing solid propulsion hardware, coordinating with suppliers, and delivering rigorous technical analyses and reports to stakeholders while complying with security requirements and program schedules.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• 8+ years in rocket propulsion development or test engineering; 6+ years with a master's.
• Understanding of solid rocket motor designs and performance.
• Experience planning and supporting solid propulsion ground tests.
• Ability to write clear technical reports and present to teams.
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville area.
• Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret if needed.
