Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Aerothermal & Fluids Analysis Engineer to advance air-breathing hypersonic programs. You will perform CFD solutions, engine performance modeling, and thermal analyses for supersonic combustion and hypersonic vehicles.

You will communicate with program offices and customers, drive designs from concept to detail, and support testing and data reduction for ramjet/scramjet systems. A US security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering; 4+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 8 years of related experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFD for hypersonic propulsion programs with high fidelity models.
• Generate thermal boundary conditions and engine performance models.
• Support component and system testing through IRAD to production.
