Job summary

Canvas is seeking a Flight Test Engineer at Arnold AFB - Tullahoma, TH. This role provides critical engineering support for hypersonic flight test programs within the Air Force Test Center.

The Flight Test Engineer will lead test planning, safety compliance, and mission execution, as well as mentor junior engineers. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and experience in test design and analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in test design and execution.
• Strong analytical skills for post-flight data evaluation.
• Ability to create comprehensive technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Draft and finalize detailed flight test plans.
• Generate required safety documentation before tests.
• Act as LDTO representative during flight tests.
• Perform analysis of telemetry and flight data.
• Author technical test reports and present briefings.
• Provide guidance to junior engineering staff.
