Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer/elec/ aerospace engineering.
• 2+ years of embedded software development in aerospace, defense, robotics, or high‑reliability systems.
• Strong C and C++ proficiency for real‑time embedded software.
• Experience with bare‑metal, RTOS, or Embedded Linux environments.
• Hardware boundary debugging including processor bring‑up and peripherals.
• Knowledge of embedded interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS‑422/232/485).
• Git‑based workflows and modern software practices; strong Python tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for flight computers and vehicle control.
• Develop high‑reliability software for real‑time embedded systems in aerospace environments.
• Own software lifecycle from requirements to verification and flight test support.
• Develop BSPs, HALs, bootloaders, and device drivers for custom avionics hardware.
• Board bring‑up and hardware enablement on new processor/FPGA platforms.
• Create software interfaces for sensors, actuators, radios, power, storage, and networks.
• Design and implement vehicle‑wide communication using DDS, CoAP, and related tech.
• Support telemetry, C2, health monitoring, logging, and HIL verification.
