Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC in Overland Park, Kansas, is seeking a Hyperscale Project Manager to coordinate multi‑site data center deliveries, oversee leasing, financing, and construction obligations, and drive on‑time project completion.

The role requires strong PM skills, experience in real estate development or data center projects, and proficiency with MS Project and project tracking tools; you will collaborate with design teams and Capital Markets to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Three or more years in real estate development, transaction management, data center infra, or construction.
• Experience in project/program management.
• Proficient in MS Project and/or other project tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documentation to establish directives for internal teams.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and assist with pro‑formas across projects.

• Maintain understanding of property conditions and incentives.
• Monitor milestones, change orders, and payment processes for compliance.
• Oversee implementation, progress, and closeout; present to leadership and customers.
• Facilitate planning for turnover to operations and security teams.
• Provide support to Capital Markets for loan due diligence.

Who You Are

The Hyperscale Project Manager supports the planning and execution of complex mega‑data center Hyperscale deliveries, managing leasing, financing, and construction obligations across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documentation and parameters to establish project directives for internal teams.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and assist with pro‑formas across projects.
• Work with the design team to ensure budget constraints and project goals align with lease requirements.
• Maintain understanding of property conditions and economic development incentives.
• Monitor progress of project milestones, change orders, and payment processes for compliance and communicate updates.
• Oversee project implementation, progress, and closeout; present information to support decision making among internal teams, leadership, and customers.
• Facilitate planning for and turnover to operations and security teams.
• Provide support to Capital Markets for loan due diligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Three or more years of experience in real estate development, transaction management, data center infrastructure, or a construction environment.
• Experience in project/program management.
• Proficient in MS Project and/or other project tracking software.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial modeling and analysis, utilizing spreadsheets.
• Three or more years with hyperscale data center development projects.
• Experience in sales engineering, project management, construction contracting, leasing, or related fields.

• Problem‑solving and analytical skills to guide decisions and ensure project delivery.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
• Self‑motivation to learn and expand technical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, under pressure, and on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in transaction management, lease administration, real estate development, data center construction, or facilities operations.
