Job summary

E2 Optics is seeking a field-oriented technician to support hyperscale data center validation, cabling, and installation activities. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in documentation, and collaboration with senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 certification within the first two weeks of employment or per project specs.
• Completion of onboarding and customer-specific orientation prior to field work.
• Customer-required training and system access requirements prior to audit activities.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and client site policies.
• Perform network validation on hyperscale data center infrastructure.
• Validate Front-End Network (FENW) components and cabling.
• Document inspection findings and ticket updates accurately.
• Assist higher-level technicians and escalate issues promptly.
• Travel as required by E2 Optics.
